The Directors

Wanderlust Foundation Director

Jenell Wilson

Jenell Wilson was a stay-at-home mother, married to a normal college professor, until her husband made a movie called Finger of God. Then, everything changed for both of them. Jenell always had a passion for people and for the oppressed, but never felt big enough or important enough to dream big dreams. So it appears God has dreamed for her, and He is now giving her an outlet to share her passion for Jesus and heart of compassion with the world. Together, she and Danielle Bilen will help Darren decide which ministries to partner with, and will work closely with those ministries to uncover needs and monitor financial gifts. She is excited for what God has in store for this simple mother who, along with her husband, just said yes to God’s call.

Jenell has her B.A. in Biblical Studies from Judson University. She has been married to Darren since 2000, and together they have three children, Serenity, Stryder, and River, and two strange but loving cats.

Wanderlust Foundation Director

Danielle Bilen

Over the past 10 years, Danielle has been on a spiritual journey based on intimacy with the Lord. In that secret place the Lord began to birth dreams and a passion for the nations and the poor and orphaned. During these past 4 years, God has begun to send Danielle on several short-term ministry trips around the world. She has watched as her brother Darren Wilson began to touch the nations through film and along with his success, God has opened even more doors for Danielle to minister. Throughout all these years, Danielle’s strongest desire was to be a part of establishing a children’s home for the poorest of the poor. God supernaturally opened the doors in May 2009 to come alongside the Bokaro Children’s home in India. Now Danielle has become a director of the Wanderlust Foundation along with her brother Darren Wilson and his wife, Jenell.

Danielle’s husband, Matt, is the Creative Media Director at Wanderlust Productions. They reside in Pingree Grove, IL- literally 50 feet from Darren and his family- along with their three children, Zachariah, Ezekial and Zion.  Danielle is a stay-at-home, homeschooling mom, and also keeps busy with their ankle-attacking, anti-social cat and their ADHD dog.
